PhD Admission: Are you passionate about tackling challenges, devising innovative solutions, and expanding your knowledge and skills in mobile robot's navigation? Envisioning yourself earning a graduate degree in a supportive.environment? Fascinated by the fusion of simulations and experiments, with a drive to make an impact? If so, we're looking for YOU to join our team.

Our research is at the forefront of navigation topics such as control, guidance, mapping, and path planning with a specific focus on Self-Guided Vehicles and Autonomous Forklifts subject to energy. Students will obtain.hands-on experience with various aspects of navigation algorithms and modelling, utilizing machine learning techniques with applications in mobile robots-an expanding industry in the world. They will have access to

state-of-the-art research facilities and resources. Positions are fully funded and funding support for research-related expenses will be provided. Both PhD and master's students can benefit from a 4-6 month internshipopportunity with our industry partner.


Requirements: We seek candidates who exhibit self-discipline, a positive attitude, and strong analyticalskills, coupled with a thirst for learning and problem-solving abilities. A keen interest in areas such as navigation'sstages is essential. Ideal candidates will hold a BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a high GPA. Previous experience with control, guidance, path planning, mapping,robotics, or machine learning and programming experience is preferred.

The experimental labs: (i) Hydrogen Research Institute (IRH), Trois-Rivières; (ii) National Integrated ResearchCentre for Intelligent Manufacturing (CNIMI), Drummondville; (iii) The industry partner's manufactory, Louisville.
